There are two things that you can do right now to support the housing industry:
- Participate in the HBAR Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) effort by clicking here to join the HBAR GOTV List. This list will only be used to inform HBAR members about the candidates who will be on the ballot for a given election or to mobilize support on important housing issues, and this list will never, ever be used for any other HBAR solicitation whatsoever. On the forms it is very important to provide correct, complete home physical address information so that we ensure that you only receive information that is germane to the locality (and legislative district) in which you live. This information will be kept in the strictest of confidence, and it will not be given or sold to anyone-period.
- Donate to the HBAR BUILD PAC. An important component of our political activity is the HBAR BUILD PAC. By contributing to the HBAR BUILD PAC, you can support efforts to elect candidates who understand the challenges faced by the housing industry and who understand the important role the housing industry plays in the continued economic prosperity of our region. To make a BUILD PAC contribution, simply download and complete this form. You can mail the form and your check to the following address: HBAR BUILD PAC, 400 N. Ridge Road, Richmond, VA 23229, or if you are making a contribution by credit card, you can complete the form and fax it to HBAR BUILD PAC at (804) 282-9866. A 4.5% processing fee applies to credit card transactions.
