First Annual Excellence in Remodeling Awards
The Homebuilding Association of Richmond has launched its first remodeling competition!
Winning entries in the Excellence in Remodeling Awards(ERA) will receive an award at our May 15th Continuing Education Seminar, recognition in Richmond Times- Dispatch , housetrends,a lifestyle/ home improvement magazine and recognition on the HBAR web site.
Our first annual
Excellence in Remodeling Awards program will be held on
May 15th at the Sheraton West.
In addition to the awards we will also be hosting a continuing education seminar on Builder
Diversification in tandem with this event. The seminar is worth two hours of NAHB continuing
education credit towards CGA, CGB, CGR, CAPS & GMB.
Our guest speaker is Vince
Butler.
Speaker Biography
Vince Butler, CGR, GMB, CAPS is a second-generation builder and remodeler from the Northern Virginia. He has served as President of Butler Brothers Corporation since 1984 and has extensive experience in the design, sales and production of residential construction and remodeling. Vince has a degree in Financial Management from Virginia Tech and is a Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR), Graduate Master Builder (GMB) and Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS). He serves in several positions at the
local and national level of NAHB including Past Chair of his local Remodelers Council, Trustee with the NAHB Remodelers and 2003 Chair of the CGR Board of Governors. He is a past
Chairman of the NAHB
Remodelers.
